Fuel oil demand in Egypt: Raise in April 2018

Fuel oil demand grew by 6.56 percent in April 2018, according to numbers published by JODI Data. The indicator increased by 233.68 thousand barrels, in contrast to the previous month when it decreased by 7.26%. April 2017, the variable diminished by -6.21 percent and hit 5 588.75 thousand barrels. In brief, the indicator was -32.06 percent smaller in April 2017 than in April 2018. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a decline of 18.41%. Besides, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 5 108.65 thousand barrels with a marginal overall growth since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 8 295.5 thousand barrels in November 2015 and record low of 3 563.56 thousand barrels in March 2018.
