Cottonseed production in South Africa stays the same in 2017

According to revised figures published by U.S. Department of Agriculture, in comparison to the prior year cottonseed production hasn't changed. The same as it has been for the last 2 year, the variable was 31 thousand tonnes. South Africa saw a drop of 6.06% in cottonseed production during the last 49 years. As well as it has had a raise at a 0.1% CAGR over the last 5 years with a moderate overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 60.96 thousand tonnes from 1969 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 155 thousand tonnes in 1988 and record low of 12 thousand tonnes in 2012.
