Chromium consumption in Poland: Decrease in 2015

According to data presented by U.S. Geological Survey, chromium consumption sharply decreased by 62.5% in 2015. The variable declined strongly by 10 thousand tonnes, contrarily to the previous year when it rose by 14.29%. Poland saw a raise of 100% in chromium consumption over the past 13 years. Though, it has shown a decline at a 0.14% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a strong overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 9.98 thousand tonnes from 2003 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 17 thousand tonnes in 2008 and record low of 3 thousand tonnes in 2006.
