Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Algeria declines in 2017

Compared with the previous year horses import decreased strongly by 73.45 percent, according to figures released by United Nations Statistical Office. Horses import greatly diminished by 4.41, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 81.25%. It's the lowest value on record since 2009. Algeria saw a drop of 60.25% in horses import over the past 9 years. Moreover, it has shown a diminution at a 0.42 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 15.62 from 2009 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 38 in 2012.
