Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Hungary increases in 2016

The variable grew sharply by 231.53% compared to the prior year, according to adjusted data announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Horses import went up greatly from 3 454 kilogram in 2015 to 11 451 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 115.88%. Hungary saw a decrease of 85.98% in horses import over the past 25 years. Likewise, it has attained a 0.25 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 39 853 kilogram from 1992 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 100 701 kilogram in 1993 and record low of 1 600 kilogram in 2014.
