Import of revolvers and pistols to Kuwait decreases in 2017
United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the prior year weapon import diminished sharply by 95.81%. The variable strongly went down from 4 644 122 US Dollar to 194 403.7 US Dollar, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 2 889.94 percent. Kuwait saw an increase of 108.83% in weapon import over the past 18 years. Though, it has had a fall at a 0.27% CAGR over the five years with a modest overall rise since the 2000. It averaged 586 368.21 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 4 644 122 US Dollar in 2016 and record low of 48 530 US Dollar in 2002.
