Sales of flours, meals and pellets of fish or of crustaceans, molluscs or other aquatic invertebrates in Spain: Increase in 2016

According to numbers released by European Commission, compared to the previous year the indicator barely grew by 2.72 percent. Processed seafood sales negligibly climbed from 42 274.6 thousand kilograms in 2015 to 43 424.13 thousand kilograms prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 11.63 percent. The overall changes for the prior 21 years hit a rise of 20.56%. Likewise, it has shown a 0.02 percent average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 40 883.08 thousand kilograms from 1996 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 76 517.21 thousand kilograms in 2001 and record low of 31 953.45 thousand kilograms in 2009.
