Import of live horses except pure-bred breeding to Saudi Arabia: Drop in 2016

According to new figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office, horses import decreased by 15.1% compared to the year before. The variable dropped from 567 461 kilogram in 2015 to 481 779.63 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it rose by 41.16%. Saudi Arabia saw a raise of 2 286.7% in horses import during the last 26 years. Moreover, it has shown a 0.12 percent CAGR during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the 1991. It averaged 145 396.68 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 567 461 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 20 186 kilogram in 1991.
