Refined lead production in Bulgaria increases in 2014

According to adjusted numbers published by U.S. Geological Survey, lead production increased hardly by 1.39 percent in 2014. The indicator grew barely from 90 742 metric ton in 2013 to 92 000 metric ton prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 5.32 percent. Bulgaria saw an increase of 6.88% in lead production during the last 17 years. However, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the last five years with a modest overall rise since the start of time series. It averaged 84 459.12 metric ton from 1998 to 2014 and it attained its all-time high of 99 483 metric ton in 2009 and record low of 63 000 metric ton in 2004.
