Export of women's and girls' anoraks of man-made fibres from India: Decrease in 2017

Women's clothing export strongly declined by 63.78 percent in 2017, revised figures from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The variable sharply decreased by 70 752, in comparison to the prior year when it climbed by 337.62%. India saw a rise of 1 149.92% in women's clothing export during the last 30 years. Furthermore, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.19% during the last five years with a slight overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 194 348.53 from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 661 421 in 1999 and record low of 3 215 in 1988.
