Import of metallised yarn to Colombia climbs in 2016

In 2016 textile import sharply climbed by 63.15 percent, according to updated numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator grew strongly from 42 183 kilogram in 2015 to 68 821 kilogram prior year, versus the previous year when it went down by 16.64%. Colombia saw a rise of 1 358.69% in textile import during the last 26 years. As well as it has attained a raise at a 0.05 percent compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 30 344.96 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 72 604 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 4 718 kilogram in 1991.
