Re-import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to South Africa grows in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office reported that construction equipment import rose by 20.65% in 2017. The indicator grew from 8 211 kilogram in 2016 to 9 906.69 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 112.89%. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained a rise of 96.52%. Moreover, it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.16% during the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 6 338.11 kilogram from 2002 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 18 383 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 1 987 kilogram in 2006.
