Import of gum, wood or sulphate turpentine oils to United Arab Emirates climbs in 2016

Specialty chemicals import rose by 8.42 percent in comparison to the previous year, revised numbers from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The variable grew from 181 872 kilogram in 2015 to 197 180 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it dropped by 30.03 percent. United Arab Emirates saw a growth of 348.85% in specialty chemicals import during the last 12 years. Moreover, it has shown a rise at a 0.59 percent CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 101 168.83 kilogram from 2005 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 341 868 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 19 354 kilogram in 2012.
