Export of single cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing more than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 232-192 decitex from Guatemala rises in 2016

Compared to the previous year the indicator went up greatly by 49.28%, according to revised statistics issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Cotton export strongly climbed from 1 581 567 kilogram to 2 360 972 kilogram, in comparison with the prior year when it decreased by 35.84%. The overall changes for the previous 24 years attained a raise of 1 171.95%. Furthermore, it has shown a growth at a 0.15% compound annual growth rate during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 481 219.21 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 465 078 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 1 187 kilogram in 1996.
