Fuel oil consumption in mining and processing of ferrous metal ores in China: Drop in 2015

The indicator dropped strongly by 33.33 percent compared to the prior year, new data from China National Statistical Office present. Fuel oil consumption sharply declined from 0.06 ten thousand metric ton in 2014 to 0.04 ten thousand metric ton previous year, versus the prior year when it climbed by 100 percent. China saw a fall of 95.79% in fuel oil consumption over the past 12 years. Besides, it has shown a decline at a 0.13 percent compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 0.34 ten thousand metric ton from 2004 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 0.95 ten thousand metric ton in 2004 and record low of 0.03 ten thousand metric ton in 2013.
