Export of fresh foliage, branches for bouquets from Costa Rica increases in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in comparison with the prior year flower export greatly went up by 44.1 percent. The indicator increased strongly by 9 985 450 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 42.1 percent. Costa Rica saw a raise of 30.16% in flower export during the last 23 years. Furthermore, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.25 percent over the last five years with a negligible overall diminution since the 1994. It averaged 42 266 647.87 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 61 244 568 US Dollar in 2008 and record low of 8 880 692 US Dollar in 2013.
