Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Lithuania grows in 2017

Compared with the previous year yarn import went up by 16.36%, updated statistics from European Commission reveal. The indicator climbed by 2 070 Euro, in comparison with the prior year when it decreased by 77.95%. The overall changes for the previous 10 years reached a growth of 118.07%. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.26 percent during the 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the 2008. It averaged 35 124 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 68 030 Euro in 2013 and record low of 6 750 Euro in 2008.
