Import of copper and copper alloy waste or scrap to Bahrain climbs in 2016

In comparison with the previous year copper import strongly climbed by 126.53 percent, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office demonstrate. Copper import increased sharply by 29 604 kilogram, compared to the prior year when it went down by 69.51 percent. Bahrain saw a raise of 112% in copper import over the past 17 years. However, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.4% over the last 5 years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 357 158.82 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 546 000 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 4 000 kilogram in 2002.
