Import of chemically pure fructose to Philippines: Rise in 2017

The indicator slightly climbed by 4.67 percent in comparison to 2016, according to adjusted numbers announced by United Nations Statistical Office. Fructose import increased barely by 45 643.63 kilogram, versus the prior year when it decreased by 32.47 percent. Philippines saw a rise of 65 425.71% in fructose import over the past 22 years. Still it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.19 percent during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 5 158 843.89 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 39 928 932 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 528 kilogram in 2000.
