Export of registers, account books, note books and diaries from Malta drops in 2016

Consumer goods export strongly diminished by 72.25 percent compared to the prior year, according to new figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export fell sharply from 19 747 US Dollar to 5 479 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 82.2%. Malta saw a growth of 169.24% in consumer goods export over the past 23 years. Moreover, it has attained a raise at a 0.19 percent compound annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 16 959 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 150 418 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 71 US Dollar in 2006.
