Re-export of dried egg from Hong Kong declines in 2016

The indicator decreased strongly by 89.9% compared to the prior year, according to new figures published by United Nations Statistical Office. Egg export sharply declined from 406 kilogram to 41 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 80.42%. Hong Kong saw a drop of 57.73% in egg export over the past 24 years. As well as it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.45% during the last 5 years with a modest overall fall since the start of observations. It averaged 1 284.29 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 8 375 kilogram in 1999 and record low of 30 kilogram in 2004.
