Import of beet-pulp, bagasse and other waste of sugar manufacture to South Africa rises in 2017

According to refreshed statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, sugar import strongly increased by 30.05 percent in comparison with one year earlier. The variable grew greatly by 68 458.34 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went up by 100.74 percent. The overall changes for the previous 18 years reached a rise of 8 534.43%. Furthermore, it has shown the average annual growth rate of 0.06 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 160 070.19 US Dollar from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 440 447 US Dollar in 2011 and record low of 2 507 US Dollar in 2001.
