European Commission reported that flax yarn export declined hardly by 4.13% in comparison to 2016. Flax yarn export slightly decreased by 194 400 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it fell by 1.69 percent. Poland saw a drop of 13.41% in flax yarn export during the last 15 years. Moreover, it has had the compound annual growth rate of 0.1% over the last five years with a negligible overall diminution since the 2003. It averaged 3 994 240 kilogram from 2003 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 5 216 300 kilogram in 2003 and record low of 1 826 800 kilogram in 2009.
