Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Slovenia: Decline in 2016

According to refreshed statistics presented by European Commission, yarn import went down by 27.27 percent in comparison to the prior year. Yarn import fell from 17 380 Euro to 12 640 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it rose by 805.21%. Slovenia saw a diminution of 73.53% in yarn import during the last 9 years. Furthermore, it has shown a raise at a 0.25 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall decrease since the 2008. It averaged 13 762.22 Euro from 2008 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 47 750 Euro in 2008 and record low of 1 920 Euro in 2014.
