Import of plastic household, toilet articles not table, kitchen to Iceland goes up in 2017

In 2017 home goods import increased strongly by 39.05%, revised statistics from United Nations Statistical Office reveal. The indicator sharply climbed from 292 538 kilogram to 406 787.47 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it grew by 11.33%. It's the highest value on record since 1988. Iceland saw a raise of 205.71% in home goods import over the past 30 years. As well as it has had a 0.18% compound average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 207 983.05 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 133 063 kilogram in 1988.
