Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to Turkey goes down in 2017

According to refreshed numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable fell strongly by 75.57% in comparison to the prior year. Horses import diminished greatly by 1 073 314.55 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 38.43%. Turkey saw a decrease of 60.79% in horses import during the last 29 years. Moreover, it has had a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.39% over the five years with a negligible overall increase since the 1989. It averaged 3 486 837.12 US Dollar from 1989 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 13 996 864 US Dollar in 1998 and record low of 98 973 US Dollar in 1992.
