Import of saturated acyclic hydrocarbons to Senegal goes down in 2016

According to refreshed figures released by United Nations Statistical Office, organic chemicals import strongly fell by 62.84% in comparison with the prior year. Organic chemicals import diminished sharply by 41 891 US Dollar, versus the previous year when it went up by 2 000.28 percent. Senegal saw a growth of 268.36% in organic chemicals import over the past 21 years. Still it has had a drop at a 0.06 percent compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 21 322.76 US Dollar from 1996 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 166 192 US Dollar in 2000 and record low of 54 US Dollar in 2006.
