Fuel oil consumption in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and water conservancy in China: Decline in 2015

According to adjusted figures published by China National Statistical Office, fuel oil consumption dropped by 29.13 percent compared with the prior year. The variable decreased from 1.27 ten thousand metric ton in 2014 to 0.9 ten thousand metric ton previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 38.05%. China saw a rise of 125% in fuel oil consumption over the past 16 years. Still it has shown a decline at a 0.07% compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it attained its all-time high of 2.05 ten thousand metric ton in 2013 and record low of 0.4 ten thousand metric ton in 2000.
