The indicator strongly fell by 65.2 percent in comparison with the prior year, revised numbers from European Commission illustrate. Flax yarn export greatly went down by 29 260 Euro, in contrast to the previous year when it increased by 174.5 percent. It indicates the all-time low since 2005. Romania saw a diminution of 96.19% in flax yarn export during the last 12 years. Besides, it has attained a decrease at a 0.12% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 105 511.67 Euro from 2005 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 410 420 Euro in 2005.
