Production of polyethylene having a specific gravity not exceeding 0,94 in primary forms in Netherlands increases in 2016

According to new figures announced by European Commission, the indicator went up by 10.28 percent in 2016. Polyethylene production increased from 652 916 thousand kilograms to 720 011 thousand kilograms, in comparison to the previous year when it went down by 0.36 percent. Netherlands saw a decrease of 21.04% in polyethylene production over the past 12 years. Furthermore, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.01 percent during the last 5 years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 623 756.25 thousand kilograms from 2005 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 911 924 thousand kilograms in 2005 and record low of 652 916 thousand kilograms in 2015.
