Import of shock absorbers for motor vehicles to Tanzania goes down in 2016

The indicator fell by 14.26 percent in 2016, revised data from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. Vehicle import dropped from 1 401 657 kilogram to 1 201 830 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 23.5 percent. Tanzania saw an increase of 1 916.76% in vehicle import during the last 22 years. However, it has attained a decline at a 0.02% CAGR over the last 5 years with a slight overall raise since the 1995. It averaged 669 031.82 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 1 881 249 kilogram in 2013 and record low of 39 709 kilogram in 2000.
