Fuel oil demand in Iran: Decline in April 2018

JODI Data announced that fuel oil demand declined by 10.39% compared with the prior month. The variable decreased from 4 185 thousand barrels to 3 750 thousand barrels, in comparison with the prior month when it increased by 3.79 percent. When examining the year before, it can be announced that the indicator was decreasing by -23.64% and attained 8 190 thousand barrels in April. This displays a -54.21 percent variation between April 2017 and April of the year after. The overall changes for the previous 16 years reached a drop of 47.18%. Besides, the fuel oil demand is now below average of 8 645.91 thousand barrels with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It hit its all-time high of 15 097 thousand barrels in May 2013 and record low of 1 530 thousand barrels in September 2002.
