Refined oil products supply and demand balance in Chile: Fall in June 2018

Compared to the previous month the variable decreased sharply by 104.76 percent, according to updated statistics presented by JODI Data. The indicator greatly declined from -21 thousand tonnes to 1 thousand tonnes, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it diminished by 155.26%. When examining 2017, it can be reported that the variable was going down by -188.17 percent and reached 164 thousand tonnes in June. In brief, the indicator was -99.39% lower in June 2017 than in the same month one year later. The overall changes for the previous 9 years hit a diminution of 100.58%. Moreover, the refined oil products supply and demand balance is now above average of -44.62 thousand tonnes with a sharp overall raise since the 2009. It attained its all-time high of 295 thousand tonnes in September 2016 and record low of -314 thousand tonnes in February 2009.
