Export of trunks, suit-cases with outer surface of plastic sheeting or of textile materials from Guyana: Raise in 2016

Consumer goods export sharply went up by 88.03% compared with the previous year, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office indicate. The variable increased strongly from 117 kilogram to 220 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 125%. Guyana saw a fall of 98.11% in consumer goods export over the past 18 years. Besides, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.33 percent over the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the 1999. It averaged 1 690 kilogram from 1999 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 15 005 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 12 kilogram in 2005.
