Export of brooms and brushes of vegetable material from Mexico: Fall in 2017

Consumer goods export fell greatly by 30.7% in 2017, according to adjusted data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator sharply declined from 12 004 403 kilogram in 2016 to 8 319 287.5 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it climbed by 114.3%. Mexico saw an increase of 140.56% in consumer goods export during the last 28 years. Likewise, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.06% over the five years with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 8 574 351.73 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 63 568 504 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 2 428 670 kilogram in 1998.
