Import of parts of watch cases to South Africa declines in 2017

According to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office, compared to 2016 the variable dropped by 23.08%. Clocks import diminished by 378.92 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 27.79%. South Africa saw a rise of 7.31% in clocks import during the last 18 years. However, it has attained a diminution at a 0.13 percent compound average annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall raise since the 2000. It averaged 2 228.62 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 7 748 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 222 kilogram in 2002.
