Import of medicaments of other antibiotics packaged for retail sale to Latvia: Diminution in 2017

The variable slightly decreased by 2.27% compared to the previous year, adjusted data from European Commission show. Antibiotic import hardly went down from 11 944 310 Euro in 2016 to 11 672 820 Euro prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 2.05 percent. The overall changes for the prior 17 years attained a rise of 76.04%. Still it has attained a decrease at a 0.05% compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a marginal overall raise since the 2001. It averaged 11 353 750 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 18 518 090 Euro in 2011 and record low of 6 630 700 Euro in 2001.
