Peanuts production in China: Raise in 2016

Peanuts production grew by 5.17% in comparison with the prior year, updated numbers from China National Statistical Office reveal. The indicator increased from 1 643.97 ten thousand metric ton to 1 728.98 ten thousand metric ton, versus the previous year when it diminished by 0.25 percent. It's the highest level on record since 1986. The overall changes for the prior 31 years hit a rise of 193.97%. Besides, it has had a growth at a 0.01% CAGR during the last five years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 195.58 ten thousand metric ton from 1986 to 2016 and it attained its minimum of 536.25 ten thousand metric ton in 1989.
