Export of medicaments of alkaloids or derivatives thereof packaged for retail sale from Latvia goes down in 2017

The indicator dropped strongly by 34.25% in 2017, updated data from European Commission reveal. Alkaloid export sharply decreased from 2 863 100 Euro to 1 882 420 Euro, versus the previous year when it went up by 15.32%. Latvia saw a rise of 776.11% in alkaloid export over the past 17 years. Still it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.3 percent over the last 5 years with a modest overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 3 893 488.82 Euro from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 11 025 870 Euro in 2013 and record low of 149 030 Euro in 2002.
