Gas and diesel export in Chinese Taipei: Decline in May 2018

Gas and diesel oil export dropped by 16.51 percent compared with the previous month, revised numbers from JODI Data pinpoint. The variable went down by 131.44 thousand tonnes, versus the prior month when it grew by 29.58 percent. The data hit 641.23 thousand tonnes in May 2017, which is a 18.14% variation compared to April of the same year. Between May 2017 and the same month one year later, the figures show a 3.69% fluctuation. Chinese Taipei saw a raise of 177.67% in gas and diesel oil export during the last 16 years. In comparison with its average, the gas and diesel oil export is now greater as the mean equals 638.26 thousand tonnes with a sharp overall growth since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 1 094.41 thousand tonnes in July 2009 and record low of 148.56 thousand tonnes in August 2011.
