Fuel oil consumption in China: Raise in 2015

China National Statistical Office reported that fuel oil consumption grew by 5.94 percent compared with the same time a year ago. Fuel oil consumption increased from 4 400.47 ten thousand metric ton to 4 662 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 11.29 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years attained a growth of 20.38%. Moreover, it has attained the CAGR of 0.05 percent during the five years with a moderate overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 3 972.14 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 4 783.47 ten thousand metric ton in 2004 and record low of 2 827.8 ten thousand metric ton in 2009.
