Fuel oil consumption in China goes up in 2015

According to refreshed numbers published by China National Statistical Office, in 2015 the indicator rose by 5.94%. Fuel oil consumption increased from 4 400.47 ten thousand metric ton to 4 662 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 11.29 percent. The overall changes for the prior 16 years hit an increase of 20.38%. Furthermore, it has shown a 0.05% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a moderate overall fall since the 2000. It averaged 3 972.14 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it reached its all-time high of 4 783.47 ten thousand metric ton in 2004 and record low of 2 827.8 ten thousand metric ton in 2009.
