Export of frozen fish meat without bones from Ireland goes down in 2017

According to adjusted data presented by European Commission, fish export sharply fell by 75.54 percent in 2017. It hit its 23-year low as the variable greatly dropped from 1 576 040 Euro to 385 570 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 7.75%. The overall changes for the previous 23 years attained a fall of 78.76%. Moreover, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.27% over the last five years with a modest overall diminution since the 1995. It averaged 2 353 598.7 Euro from 1995 to 2017 and it reached its maximum of 5 641 800 Euro in 2001.
