Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to New Zealand: Decline in 2016

According to refreshed statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office, the variable fell greatly by 41.23% in comparison with the same time an year ago. The indicator strongly declined by 66 778 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 13.56%. The overall changes for the prior 20 years attained a growth of 548.19%. Besides, it has attained a 0.07 percent compound average annual growth rate during the last five years with a negligible overall raise since the 1997. It averaged 42 665.15 kilogram from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 187 389 kilogram in 2014 and record low of 450 kilogram in 2000.
