Import of waste of synthetic fibres to Mozambique grows in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that synthetic fiber import went up strongly by 594.05 percent compared to the previous year. The indicator greatly rose from 168 kilogram in 2015 to 1 166 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it dropped by 89.74 percent. The overall changes for the previous 17 years attained a drop of 94.63%. Furthermore, it has attained a 0.36 percent compound annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 23 759.41 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 370 693 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 4 kilogram in 2011.
