Import of live pure-bred breeding horses to France: Rise in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that the indicator climbed by 11.7 percent in comparison with the previous year. Horses import rose from 500 583 kilogram in 2015 to 559 175 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it declined by 3.23 percent. France saw a rise of 2.1% in horses import over the past 23 years. Besides, it has attained a growth at a 0.05% average annual growth rate during the last five years with a modest overall increase since the 1994. It averaged 400 116.09 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 478 028 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 207 743 kilogram in 1996.
