Bromine production in China falls in 2016

Compared with the prior year bromine production declined by 5 percent, refreshed figures from U.S. Geological Survey illustrate. Bromine production went down by 5 000 metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it diminished by 9.09 percent. The overall changes for the prior 12 years hit a drop of 9.09%. Furthermore, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent over the last five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 109 458.33 metric ton from 2005 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 137 000 metric ton in 2007 and record low of 93 000 metric ton in 2009.
