Natural gas import in Ukraine: Growth in May 2018

Natural gas import sharply rose by 190.08 percent in comparison to the prior month, refreshed figures from JODI Data demonstrate. Natural gas import grew strongly by 728 million cubic meters, versus the previous month when it decreased by 27.6 percent. The prior year, the variable was rising by 141.34% and hit 1 156 million cubic meters in May 2017. When considering the year-on-year setting, a -3.89 percent drop can be reported between May 2017 and May 2018. The overall changes for the prior 7 years attained a decrease of 67.78%. Compared to its average, the natural gas import is now lower as the mean equals 1 699.82 million cubic meters with a slight overall fall since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 4 314 million cubic meters in September 2013 and record low of 20 million cubic meters in June 2016.
