Export of manicure or pedicure sets and instruments from Namibia decreases in 2016

According to numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison to the previous year consumer goods export sharply decreased by 76.66 percent. Consumer goods export declined greatly by 3 006 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 72.73 percent. Namibia saw a growth of 180.67% in consumer goods export over the past 17 years. However, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.07% during the 5 years with a marginal overall decrease since the 2000. It averaged 3 859.12 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 15 865 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 65 kilogram in 2001.
