Crude oil imports in Poland: Drop in June 2018

The variable fell by 5.12% compared with the prior month, according to statistics published by JODI Data. Crude oil imports diminished from 517.33 thousand barrels per day to 490.84 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it dropped by 7.36%. In 2017, the indicator was growing by 9.63 percent and reached 487.65 thousand barrels per day in June 2017. Year-on-year, this shows a 0.65% variation between June 2017 and the same month the year after. Poland saw a raise of 39.6% in crude oil imports during the last 16 years. Furthermore, the crude oil imports is now above average of 438.65 thousand barrels per day with a strong overall rise since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 622.41 thousand barrels per day in December 2015 and record low of 263.39 thousand barrels per day in April 2002.
