Sales of chocolate blocks, slabs or bars with added cereal, fruit or nuts in Spain: Growth in 2016

European Commission reported that chocolate sales went up by 17.12 percent in comparison to the previous year. Chocolate sales climbed from 14 277 thousand kilograms in 2015 to 16 721 thousand kilograms prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 19.85%. Spain saw a diminution of 38.49% in chocolate sales over the past 22 years. As well as the chocolate sales is now above average of 15 472.68 thousand kilograms and the indicator indicates a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It hit its all-time high of 27 183 thousand kilograms in 1995 and record low of 11 800 thousand kilograms in 2000.
